Overlaps
Overlaps is a mixed media assemblage, depicting a symmetrically colorful structure. Wood cylinders of different lengths and colors are attached on a wooden board in combination with two overlapping perforated sheets from reclaimed metal.
Materials: reclaimed aluminium sheet, wood, paint.

Shading
Shading is a conceptual mixed media assemblage which explores perception in relation to geometry and repetition. Laser cut foam board pieces are attached symmetrically on a PVC board. The pieces are arranged according to a pattern which creates an optical illusion to the viewer. A Plexiglas sheet is added on top, filtering the unnecessary light and protecting the structure.
